Jurisdictions

Built for India. Ready for more.

Courts, deadline rules, holidays, taxes and wording are stored as data in a versioned pack, not in code. India comes first, and the United States is built the same way.

India

Courts and forums

District and sessions courts, the High Court (single and division bench), the Supreme Court and tribunals. Tribunals include NCLT, NCLAT, DRT, DRAT, CAT, NGT, RERA, consumer forums, ITAT, GSTAT and labour courts. Delhi's court complexes come first.

Practice areas

Civil, family, criminal, commercial, writ and service, and tribunal and regulatory. There are 39 case types, each with its own fields and stages.

Calendars and language

Delhi, Maharashtra and national holiday calendars. The app and client messages work in Hindi and English.

GST and Indian billing

GST on professional fees, with disbursements treated as pure agent or recharged. It also has the ten expense heads advocates actually use.

United States

US federal deadlines

FRCP, FRAP and FRBP timing, with the Rule 6 rollover for weekends and holidays. It also has New York and California limitation periods, and federal and New York calendars.

Trust accounting

IOLTA trust accounts with three-way reconciliation, saved and signed by a partner. It also handles earned-fee transfers and makes an audit pack.

US billing

Contingency fees, with the cap set by the pack and the percentage agreed in writing. Time is kept in tenths of an hour, with LEDES 1998B export and PACER costs booked as disbursements.

PACER import

Bring parties, judge, nature of suit and docket entries into a new matter. Dates are only suggested, never applied automatically.

Consent rules for messaging

SMS and e-mail by default, with TCPA consent and STOP and START handling.

Where your data lives

Region fixed at sign-up

A firm's region is chosen at sign-up and locked in the database. Moving it is a recorded, approved step.

In practice

What this looks like on a real day

A Mumbai chamber

A chamber in Maharashtra signs up.

What happensIts state at sign-up picks the Maharashtra holiday calendar. The firm's own closures never move a statutory date.

A New York litigator

A complaint is served in a federal court.

What happensThe answer date is worked out under the FRCP with Rule 6 rollover. The contingency percentage must be in writing before intake is complete.

A tribunal practice

Most of the work is NCLT, DRT and consumer-forum matters.

What happensThese are full forums with their own case types, not add-ons to a court list.

These are example stories. The names and matters are made up. The features are real.

By design

Built so that…

✓Rules are versioned data in the pack. A change is a new release, not a code edit.
✓Dates and money come out the same on the device and the server.
✓A firm's region is fixed at sign-up.
